Registration for the All-Russian Conference for Doctors "Life with Diabetes Mellitus from 0 to 100" is open

From September 16 to 17, Moscow will host an important event for the medical community - the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Life with Diabetes from 0 to 100", which for the second year brings together thousands of specialists from Russia and countries of near and far abroad in the fight against a high level of morbidity diabetes mellitus.
Diabetes is the second most common comorbidity after hypertension.

A 2021 study of adult patients with diabetes showed that life expectancy for patients with BMI, HbA1c, SBP, and LDL-C above normal was reduced by 3.9, 3.8, 1.9, and 0.9 years, respectively. At the same time, therapeutic correction of indicators led to an increase in life expectancy by 3.9 years and more. Outpatient physicians often face the difficult task of achieving control over target indicators, taking into account the limited time of admission, the presence of comorbidity and cardiometabolic syndrome in the patient, and the non-compliance of a number of patients with recommendations for lifestyle changes.

The conference will consider innovative research in endocrinology, diabetology, therapy and related areas of biology and medicine.
