The administration of the Kursk region has decided to launch an electronic recipe platform in the Kursk region. It is expected that by the beginning of 2022 it will be possible to prescribe digital prescriptions in all public clinics in the region. The project will be launched on the Electronic Prescription platform from Medicata, and Rostelecom will become the operator of the project in the Kursk region.

The developer of the technology is the Medicata company, which created the first electronic prescription platform in Russia. The main objectives of the project are to increase the efficiency of interaction between doctors, pharmacies and pharmacists, increase the share of remote interactions and the availability of drug supply. The widespread use of electronic prescriptions is also expected to control prescriptions and the sale of prescription drugs.

In our institutions, the platform is installed free of charge, specialists will integrate the program into the existing information systems to which our doctors are accustomed. At the same time, the opportunity to receive a paper version of the recipe will remain, ”said Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region Andrei Belostotsky.
